Description
A stainless steel Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5167A-001 showcases a tropical rubber strap with a double fold-over clasp, complemented by scratch-resistant sapphire crystals featuring anti-reflective coatings. The watch includes a transparent screw-down display case back and a signed winding crown. With a 40mm diameter square solid two-body case, flat bezel with polished edges, and gently curved lugs, the watch boasts a polished/brushed finish.
The black composite dial exhibits a tropical pattern, adorned with applied luminescent Arabic numerals and pointed steel baton hands with luminous fill. Additionally, the dial features square luminous hour indices and an outer perimeter track with a luminous white minute/second scale. A luminous center sweep second hand with a baton counterbalance and an aperture window for the date at 3 o’clock complete the dial’s design.
Water-resistant to 120 meters/380 feet, this timepiece has a maximum power reserve of 45 hours at full winding. The 8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.
The mechanical automatic self-winding caliber 325 SC movement is rhodium-plated, featuring fausses cotes and Cotes de Geneve embellishments, as well as a high-relief 21K gold emblem of the Patek Philippe quality mark. The movement consists of 31 jewels, 213 parts, and a straight-line lever escapement. It also includes a shock absorber mechanism, a 22K gold rotor with the Calatrava emblem, a self-compensating free-sprung flat balance spring, and the patented Patek Gyromax balance, which compensates for cold, heat, isochronism, and 5 positions. The mechanism oscillates at 28 800 vph (4 Hz).
